Happy New Year to anyone that passes through my blog! Any big plans? Not me. Unemployed mother of one without a baby sitter will be sitting at home on this fine evening. And I am quite Okay with that. A year ago I would not have been Okay with it, though. A year ago, I would have been pouting and complaining that I didn't get to join in any of the reindeer games...wait...Christmas is done. Right... New Years.
I bought myself a bottle of Vino for Christmas, that I will enjoy later on. (A rarity in this house and home and with our economy!) I created some baking soda play dough with my daughter and made some adorable creations with that ( you will see the HOW-TO in my next post) and have declared today NATIONAL PAJAMA DAY! Hurrah!
Acceptance is often the Key to Happiness and Peace of Mind. Nonacceptance is often the Path to Change. But, for this day, Acceptance is swell and I am content in my jammies with my vino and our crafts and snacks for this New Years Eve.
My New Years Resolution is to find a job first and foremost. Second, to remain happy, with out having to spend hardly anything. Happiness does not result from money. Financial Security does, though. That will come in time. That`s it. I am not a huge fan of New Years Resolutions as I tend to have goals all though out the year, often small, but never the less I will share them as they come along.
